Recently in one of the website I have seen written asHR Strange But True !
What exactly does it mean.
What comes into your mind , once you read the sentence “ HR STRANGE BUT TRUE”.

It’s very simple. the first half HR STRANGE signifies the complexity of human natures(Man power) and the second half BUT TRUE signifies the one ness in diversity. Regards, Anal Shah

More than one persons make a group and more than one group makes an organisation so there are many different personalities and so many differences of opinion. (the first part of your quote)
Here there is one person exteremely extrovert and one exteremely entrovert working in the same team reporting to a person who posseses the some third personality trait.
But all of them are focused and working for a common goal and gets succeed (Second part of your Quote).
This is what forms the whole thing as ::

Exactly true the meaning specified above. Another meaning can be, It might have been written by person who might be confused :shock: about the role of HR :roll: - and would be surprised by its role on an organization :idea: . More details can be known after reading the article.

This is a innocent comment from a non-HR person..
Who observes the management process from out side..
Through out the year there is so minimal quantifiable/visible contribution from HR department that he thinks the department is non existent....
which is STRANGE
But at end of the year he understands the contribution by the department,he accepts the significance of the dept. and its very existance
Hence TRUE

If you look at the opening page of this block, http://mypyp.wordpress.com/, from the kinds of books people have written, I am sure there must be millions of people trapped in the wrong jobs and avoiding square pegs in rond holes is the primary job of hr though how much it happens god alone knows- strange but true.
