I wanted to understand how to created formulaes for finding out relative % positioning within a given range.
For example :
Min of salary is 500
Max of Salary is 1000
Actual salary is 750, That makes it at Mid 50% positing withing the range.
If actual Salary is 300 then it would be Low 40%
If actual salary is 1250 then it is High 25%
Need to know what excel formula's to get this value, if min, max and actual salary is given and its band position needs to be found out.
