Dear Friends,
I am pleased to inform you the regularization of 21 Days On / Off work pattern as a "Gazette Notification" has been published from Central Government and exemption from the provision of Section 28, 30 and Section 35 of the Mines Act, 1952, (subject to the certain conditions). The long pending and most awaited request of Mining and Oil & Gas sector has been approved thereby formalizing the 21 days on/off working pattern.
Exempted provisions are as;
• Section 28: Weekly day of rest.
• Section 30: Weekly and daily working hours
• Section 35: Limitation of daily hours of work including over-time work
This formalizes and elucidates about 21 days on/off working pattern.
This is indeed a great news for Indian Mining and Oil & Gas Sector. I am thankful to the Government for the same as this will be a start of a new era in our country.
