i have changed my name in gazzate. i gave the all the detail to our HR Deparment. but they are told me not possible to change the name in pf a/c. pls friends can you help what is procedure to change the name in pf a/c

Dear Mr.Babu
To change your name in PF account after marriage is simple. Only thing you have to attach gazette.
Then ask your company staff concerned/ employer to submit the following documents to your regional P.F office.
(1)Simple covering letter on companies L.H stating that
"The name of our employee Ms.________ ( name before publishing Gazzsat is changed to ._______ (after publishing gazzate ) w.e.f ________. So you are requested please change the name as _______________ in all records with you pertaining to him / her.
For your ready reference enclosed following documents;
(2) Form 2 (revised) –Nomination & Declaration form duly filled in and signed.
(3) Copy Gazzate
Hope you will do the needful with an immediate effect.

Note: (1) While submitting the above documents take the acknowledgement inward stamp & date on your office copy from PF Authorities' / inward clerk's which will be for your record. Then you can follow up with the same in case of any delay.
(2) You can write the covering letter as per your format. But you should enclose the Form 2 & copy of your Gazzete without fail.
(3) For your reference I enclosed copy of Form 2 as attachment.
