Hi,
please any one suggest me what should be the percentage of BASIC & DA in CTC,
How to frame the salary statement as per law. please anyone send me the salary statement format.
Currently we have BASIC & DA - 30% on CTC
HRA - 40% on BASIC & DA
CA - 800
MA - 1250
Are we following correctly?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
We would suggest that while fixing the % for Basic + DA, please consider, the same should be satisfying the minimum wages (current).
There is no any legal provisions to fixing the "%" for salary component. The purpose of fixing % is to show the uniformity in salary fixation, irrespective of levels / designations.
We have attached the salary working sheet for your reference, hope this would support you to understand well.

Hi Ms. Shakunthala
As per statutory there is no any fixed % of salary breakups. All we follow those breakup is to optimise the TDS. But as per statutory requirements the basic & DA should not be less than the Karnataka minimum wages act
