Dear Folks, Hope, you might have seen my earlier posting and stating that, I required some training material for the company who have joined recently.
In my one month period, I have collected some training materials with help of the managers who work here for more than a year.
Now my training module has designed somewhat in the initial stage and going to exhibit to the management on Monday. Once they reviewed, we are going to start training for the Operators. It would happen only after the management review. If there is any change, I have to correct it accordingly. I believe, I have done it in a good way. since the company have not hold any training materials and conduct any soft training for staff as well.
My only concern is that, most of the Operators have not read write or speak as well. In these circumstances, How can I deliver the training in a more effective way, and how it is going to reach the employees. It is a Question mark.
But let us see, how it's going to work...
Now I come to the query, what shall i do after the training.
Plz advice me...since I am blank and this is my first opportunity in training and development for a new company.

Dear Chandra,
If the workers are illiterate then generally training is imparted to them on machine operations, fire and safety precautions and nothing else. If you want to conduct the soft skills training for them then all that you can teach them is business etiquettes. If they learn that then it is more than sufficient.
For illiterate workers obviously training needs to be conducted in local language. If possible try getting videos in local language. Videos have better impact.
The third thing is role play. This is also powerful tool. However, training professional should be mature to give right feedback after the role play.
All the best!
