One of my colleague was a regular alcohol drinker and was critically hospitalized due to liver deceases. After 1 1/2 month of super specialty hospital treatment he has been discharged from the hospital. The hospital expenses crossed Rs. 1 Lakh.
He was a regular contributor to ESIC for the past 1 1/2 year and now he want to claim the hospital expenses from ESIC. The hospital was not in the empaneled list of ESIC. Can you please tell me whether he is eligible to get the reimbursement?
