I am working as a HR Executive for a automobile dealership and here as per the company policies we are deducting the cost of uniform if the Employee is leaving with in 1year and the charges are made for unused months and based on landing price of that particular material.
For Example: Mr. A Joining date is 01/01/2013 and leaves on 01/08/2013 we charge for 4 months.
I am Fresher to this job , Kindly suggest me that is there any such rules to deduct the amount for the uniform and is this a right thing what we are doing or not.

Hi can any one explain me what is the procedure to claim the salary through ESI if the person has gone through
(i) Maternity
(ii) Major operation
and will not be able to come for work for almost 3 months.
