The word 'Bombay" has been replaced with the word 'Maharashtra' in the names of 84 different Acts as per notification dated 22.8.2012 attached. The list includes:
- The Bombay Industrial Relations Act 1946
- The Bombay Shops & Establishments Act 1948
- The Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act 1953
- The Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950
- The Bombay Stamp Act 1958
- The Bombay Motor Vehicles Tax Act 1958
....... and so on.
