Hi All,
We (my company) had visited various institutes and colleges last couple of years and had recruited real good resources and the same campus had sent an invitation to visit this year too.
Due to some strategy in mind, this year we are planning to stabilize our recruitment and manage a trim size company, we have no plans to visit campus. But yes we may next year.
Please help me with the format to decline the invitation politely, without deteriorating company's image and also my relation with the campus.
Thanks,

All colleges know what the economic scenario is and they are expecting declines.
If you don't reasons, they will be calling you.
Simply reply to the invite saying "in line with out corporate strategy, we have decided not to recruit freshens from campus this year. I hope you realise this is not a reflection on quality of students or success of our recruitment from your college. I think we will come back to campus in the next year. In the meanwhile if you have any exceptional student who you think suites our company immensely, do forward the cv to us"
Or lines to that effect.
It would be enough.
Even a mail reply is ok
