Dear Seniors
If gross salary is 10000 then PT should deduct as 150 but same person if he is in loss of pay then his gross salary comes below 10000, in this whether i have to deduct his professional tax according his fixed salary i.e 10000. As of now i have not deducted PT if he is in Loss of Pay...

You have to remit the Professional tax for the gross amount earned for that particular month only, and not on the agreed salary. e.g. if a person whose salary is 12000 p.m. and he has worked for 1 day and his gross salary will be 400/- and the PT will be NIL.
