Hello my name is tushar i am working in south africa and m create a contract with me for three years and according to contract if i complete my service period of more than 1 year but less then 2 year i have to pay ma tickit and all but if i complete the service period of more then 2 but less then 3 then i only have to pay remaining visa charges now i gave m resigntion before 10 days of completion of ma 2 yrs but igave 1 month notice period so i will fall under which terms please let me knw coz now i m bit confuse

Couldn't you have waited for 10 days before resigning?
You should have asked this query BEFORE you resigned.
USUALLY the Notice period IS NOT counted to be a part of the Contract period--BUT it also depends on how the Employer interprets this clause. I am not sure of the South African laws--meaning how strong are they in protecting the employee interests.
I guess you need to keep your fingers crossed & Hope for the Best.

Calculate the start and end day in the organisation irrespective when you have put down your paper.
Say you have resigned now but leaving job after 1 month and if it completes your 2 years then it will be considered as left after 2 years
Also check your contract, does it say anything about resignation i.e. notice period is part of the contract terms or not. Logically, it should be part of the contract period only.

Hi I have resigned from my current job and my notice period is 60 days but i have served only 20 days and my date of resignation is 6-5-2015 to 25-5-2015 and my salary is 55000 so please can you tell me what shud be the exact short fall and ultimately how much i shud pay after my salary deduction
