Dear Akash_Ganga,

It would have been much wonderful, if you would've manifested your points and then asked to add or modify those by the seniors/ members in this forum. However, specific and clear-cut points are required to be integrated while designing such policies to employees.

An Access Control Card lets keep it short (ACC) is an identification card with the name and picture attested on it, it is printed specifically along company's identity where measures are taken on account of legitimate counterpart while employee uses them ascertained to a designated area where he/she can swipe the access and not to the prohited area.

Do's =

- ACC have to worn all the time, to identify themselves.

- The card has to be physically shown in the premises on demand of the officials.

- Every swipe is neccessary while Enter or Exit at the doors.

- Access cards are unquie with unique identification, henceforth only the employee shall handle the card with care.

Dont's =

In case, the acess cards are made of magnetic strips, The biggest problem with magnetic strips is that they can easily be de-magnified. Although the information can't be pulled off of the card and reproduced, not having it on there can limit the employee's access.

- This card can't be transferred.

- Do not use the card in the non-accessible/ denied zone that is not of your concern.

- Do not fold or tamper the card

- Do not make duplicate of this card as the orginal one has magnetic chips that detect your employee id and information

- Do not scratch or use watermarks on card that can hamper the data.

Whilst, talking about the system access card, it should be the same, besides a password is given linked to the data of that purticular employee which cannot be changed as and when required without prior concern.

However, system access cards are quite costly in the market with more prominent of its need for company's that preserve huge data. The system cards passwords should match up computer passwords that are pre-set by the IT department and that purticular card have to be used in purticular for accessing one's system.

My suggestion - If you use a Access control card as ID card that would serve the purpose as computers (recent) modifications have come-up with in-built password and face recognition system where buying another software may just become priceless!

All the Best!
