I have recently got shortlisted for an HR course. In interview if they ask me "why have you chosen the area of HR?", what would be the best way to answer this question. I look forward to guidance.

Hi Chaitanya,
I suppose applying for the HR course was your decision. And you'd be the best to answer it.
When you choose your career, you should know the reason for choosing it amongst all the others, coz only then will you be satisfied with what you have achieved.
First of all analyse yourself, your personality, your attitude towards life, your strengths and weakness.
Try to understand whether you'd really be happy playing the role of an HR(for which you need to know the role of an HR). or else are you more satisfied doing something else.
The question that you have asked is a very personalized one, and will differ from person to person.
You may get the answer to the question on this site or google, but till you dont believe it or feel it, It would'nt be an answer worth saying.

It is starnge that you are asking others as to why you chose HR. If not you, who better can answer this question.I reframe the question as" Why do you like HR? Just jot five reasons. That gives answer to your question..

I think you have joined the HR course, as you would have found it much easier, much simpler and less complicated !
If at all you want to pursue your career, you should have your own SWOT analysis. Unless and until you are focussed on human resources as something you want to pursue from the bottom of your heart, you can never convince anybody. It should emanate from your mind.
How do you expect us to answer what is running in your mind, why did you want to join the course !
People have started posting all kinds of funny questions here !

You be in the seat of questioner and think what your going to expect answer from the candidate.
