Hi all members of this forum.

I was working with a company in Gurgaon and now have left the company in July 2012. Now I wanted to withdraw my EPF balance from the company. So I just collected the EPF form from the EPF office and went to submit the filled form in my previous company. But the HR refused to take it and said to me that she will not give the EPF money to me. Then I sent the form by courier in the company, one of my ex-colleagues told me that your form is received by the HR. But she didn’t take any action on the form.

I just checked my EPF balance online then I got to know that the company didn’t submit my all deducted money of EPF in my EPF a/c.

Now I want to know that what I should do. Please people answer the few questions;

How to get my BPF balance from my previous company while they didn’t submit my form into the EPF office??

They submitted just half of my deducted EPF money from the salary, so will I get whole balance of my EPF or just the submitted balance by the company ?

Waiting for all of your valuable suggestion.

Regards..

Dear Priya,
Your query is incomplete. You need to answer following questions to understand your case better :-
1. Why the company is refusing to accept PF withdrawal form?
2. Do you know your PF Number? (Yes / No)
3. How can you say that company didn't deposit all pf deduction of your part?
After this one can give you clear information about the procedure of PF withdrawal.

Thanks for reply. Here are the answers,
1) The main reason why my previous company refused to give it is i left company without any prior notice due to some personal problems. Later on i tried to contact HRs/Company then they were not picking my phone.
2) Yes, I know the EPF number.
3) Because i calculated my deducted amount of 2 years which mentioned in salary slip and it was too little then it was showing in the sms sent by the EPF's official website. (You better know we can check our EPF balance online.)
Kindly tell me the further.

Answer : Its ok, well there are other way out for PF withdrawal

2) Yes, I know the EPF number.

Answer : If you have your PF Number with you you can withdraw your PF amount even without getting any signature of Previous employer. You need to fill pf withdrawal forms and get it signed/attest by Manager of your bank ( Nationalised banks), Postmaster, Any gezetted officer etc., and submit the same to the PF authorities for further withdrawal processing.

Answer : Yes obvious i know the procedure how to check pf online but just wanted to know how you assume it is less. If there is any difference in actual deduction of your PF (As per salary slips) and amount submitted in PF authorities by your company then you can file a complain to pf authorities for action.

You can send your calculation to your previous Employer if you have Salary Slip. Politely to resolve this matter They have to submit remaining PF amount (Employee 12 % & Employer Contribution 13.61%) in Your PF Account. If they will not agree for this. You may take legal action against your previous Employer because they did a fraud with You and may be with other employees.

Nasir Ji,
PF authorities will pay employer contribution of 12 % only other 1.61 % are EDLI and other admin charges that will not pay to employees at the time of withdrawal.

Hi Thanks Gurgaon HR & Nisar for your replies.
@ Gurgaon HR - I discussed one of my ex-manager & we were working in same company. I told ur suggestion to him then He told me that he filed an RTI in EPF office, then EPF office followed the RTI by itslef and the company had to transfer his all balance into his account and he got all his EPF money in his account within 12 days.
He suggested me to do the same because no-one will be easily ready to attest my form. Does it work ???

Hai saxena,
on seeing the above replies i understood that u hv sufficient information with u. U can approach with pf authorities with ur documents for further action from their end.
But my suggestion is to continue in the epf scheme for atleast 10 years by keeping the amount in pf account as a private employee is it better.
My email id is , cell no. 9949376767 for further assistance.
