Understanding Statutory Compliance and Form 11 for Provident Fund (PF) in Organizations under the Sh - CiteHR

Hi, this is M. Vinay Kumar. I have a query regarding PF for the employees. Our organization comes under the Shops and Establishment Act. My query is whether it is sufficient to provide Form 11 to employees from whom we are not deducting PF amounts, have them sign the Form 11, and mark the checkbox for the statement "I have never been a member of any provident fund." Please clarify this for me.

Awaiting your reply.

Form 11 Requirement for New Employees

Form 11 is required to be given to new employees whose PF qualifying salary is not more than Rs. 6500. For others, this form has no relevance because they are still covered by PF anyway.
