Dear Sir,
I have been working with a well known company which is based at Chennai & I work at Bangalore as a AGM for this organisation. All of a sudden my chairman called me up yesterday night & told me that they do not need my services any more. I have asked them for 2 months compensation to leave, which they are not prepared, & the reason cited was they were not happy with my performance. I have just joined them back 2 months, & how can the company expect my performance within a short period.
Can somebody help me how do i get my compensation from the company.
Thanks & Regards,
Suresh

Greetings,
I second Sateesh. Your appointment letter mentions the clause of termination during probation . Please refer that. You will be able to place your case better .
Were you informed about your performance before the final meeting? What was that communication all about ? Did they offer you any support to improve your performance ?

Hi,
Do not tell that you just joined 2 months back.
I surprised after seeing your posting because you are in AGM cader.
Try to speak with chairman and promise him that the management will satisfy with your performance in month meanwhile ask him what they are expecting from you.

in addition to the response and question above, let me add one more question. Are they asking you to resign or terminating you by stating reason of Poor performance?
If they are asking you to resign for your position , please do not resign and let them take action at their end that is you have to do and remember first.
Second, if they are taking a procedure to terminate you with the reason of Poor Performance , they have to follow the terms and conditions stated in employment /appointment letter and if the respective conditions allowing them to terminate you, they can, but certainly cant terminate you on immediate basis or without giving you any Warning Letter/ Notice in this regard.

Dear Suresh,
I am neither an HR expert nor a lawyer. Others have given you some advice based on what you have written. However to me, what you have writen is not very clear and hence let me ask you a couple of questions.
How long have you been working for the company? What is the full expansion of AGM (Please pardon my ignorance.)? What do you mean by " I have just joined them back 2 months"? Do you mean you have joined the company 2 months ago? In which case, what is your probationary period?
