Hello seniors
I need suspension letter format for worker under inquiry. Also I would like to know do we need to pay him anything under this suspension?
If he found suspect under this inquiry , then what are the steps we need to take?
It's a serious issue.................pls give your suggestion immediately. as i need to present it to seniors urgently.

An employee can be placed under suspension in two situation. First, if complaints of some serious misconducts received against the employee. He can be placed under suspension pending domestic enquiry. In this situation we have pay subsistence allowance as defined in Certified Standing Orders of the organisation or as in Model Standing Orders which is normally @50% of his/her pay for first 3 months of suspension period and if suspension prolonged beyond 3 months subsistence allowance will be @75% of pay. The language of suspension letter can be as under:

Reports of some serious misconducts has been reported against you. Maintaining the discipline in the organisation is of utmost important which is not possible in your presence. Hence you are being placed under suspension w.e.f._________

The charge sheet/show cause notice will be issued to you shortly.

During the suspension you will be paid subsistence allowance as per rule.

You are required to present yourself on security gate daily at_______a.m. to mark your attendance and for exchange of communication.

If we are suspending an employee by way of punishment. That type of punishment can be inflicted without any subsistence allowance.
