Father Agnel Business School (FABS) was established in 2001 by the “Agnel Ashram Fathers” as a continuation of their pursuit of society and the nation in the filed of quality education. As Agnel stands for DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY this year apart from our contribution towards BALBHAVAN we wish to extend our social responsibility by taking this event outside the boundary of the campus.
Abstract’07 will feature a new initiative “GOONJ” aimed towards Corporate Social Responsibility through creating awareness on ELECTRICITY CONSERVATION.
GOONJ is a social campaign which will take place on 23rd September
As Navi Mumbai is facing power cuts and load shedding due to limited resources of electricity, the motive behind GOONJ is to educate users to use electricity wisely by suggesting them various ways in which electricity can be conserved.
The event objectives are
• To create a “Conserve electricity awareness” campaign across Vashi.
• To create a “sense of responsibility” among the residents towards the utilization of the exhaustible resources.
• To invoke the “sense of unity” towards the noble cause.
• To “nurture the vision” of a better tomorrow.
The event will proceed by forming a HUMAN CHAIN followed by a SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN in Vashi. The participants in the human chain will be citizens and students from various schools and colleges in and around Navi Mumbai . The participants will form a Human Chain across Vashi. Here the expected number of participants required is atleast 3000.
The entire event will get a pre and post media coverage through various newspapers.
D-DAY
Timings Activities
9.00 am to 10.30 am Formation of human chain
10.30 am to 10.45 am Pledge ceremony & Refreshments
10.45 am to 12.00 pm Signature campaign
For all this to happen, we need your support in the form of human force.
We would request you to publicize details of the event to residents of your housing society and we look forward to their participation and also from their dear ones.

I think such social issues shld be taken up in ur areas and share ideas abt how u are goin to do it..........
Also this is a special request to people staying in & around Mumbai u can help by bein personally present on the D day.........
Also v have made a poster & presentation ready & any company intrested in funding such CSR activity can visit our college websites & also contact us on our mail id thts given..........
