Dear Sanjay,
I would like to inform you that if employee are getting wages more than 6500 to 10000 than it is mandatory
to deduct pf if employee had contrubuted pf in previous org. in india & if you hire new fresh employee whose have no
pf number in previous in india & his wages more than 6500 to 10000 any limit ,In this case no need to dedcut
pf it optional case.

Dear Sir ,
I have 2 points.
1) Basic salary < 6500 will be entitle for pf .
2) Suppose his basic salary is more than 6500 whether he is eligible.
Also, let me know if there is any calculation related to pf , so that I can easily be understood.

Sir If an employee has paid less than Rs. 6500/- as Basic salary he has to be covered under EPF. If an employee draws more than Rs. 6500/- may be exempted from EPF regards raju

Dear All,
Thaks for your valuable reply. A person whose bsic salary is less than 6500 is eligible for PF , & if More than 6500 -its depends on employer ( Mandatory ). Employee can share his amount @ 12% of his /her basic salary ,but employer will share his contribution upto 6500 /-. ex -
1) basic sal = 5000 then employees cont = 5000 x 12% = 600 & same 600 /- cont of employer
2) Basic sal = 10000 then Employee cont may be a) 6500 x 12% = 780 /- or b) 10000 x 12 % = 1200, But employer can share
only 6500 x 12% = 780 /-
Now I have some doubt Pls clear : If regular employees basic salary increased above 6500/- can we now stop his/her PF deduction ,if ermployer & employees both agree.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Sanjay
If we haven't started deduction from begining its ok.Since According to Govt. Rule its mandatary,
& new employees are ready to do work according to Employer wish ( as per current situation -due to Unemployment )
But I am also not sure about regular emloyees whose basic increased above 6500 /- ( to stop deduction or not )
If anyone can guide,it will be my pleasure.

Dear All,
1. Employee Basic + Da <= 6500, PF would be 12% on the same.
2. Employee Basic + DA > 6500, following options available:
a. Employee PF is not deducted in previous organization, then he can opt to exempt from the scheme.
b. The current organization can also exempt him by filling Form 11
c. The PF contribution can be limited to 12% Rs.6500
d. The PF contribution can be on his full Basic + DA e.g Basic +DA = Rs. 10,000 then 12% of 10,000.
Once an employee is enrolled under PF Scheme in an organization, he cannot be expemted in the same organization, even after incremented Basic + DA i.e above Rs.6500. In such case, the employer can limit the PF contribution upto Rs.6500/- or can contribute on full Basic + DA.
Let me know for any queries on the same.
