ESIC Applicable On 10k Or 15k Gross


Respected Members, My question is whether ESIC applicable on gross salary of 10,000/- or 15,000/- Some threads suggest 10k, while others 15k. I am confused. Thanks, Atul

It is applicable on gross salary less than or equal to 15000.
Washing allowance is the only exception under ESIC, which is not considered as an income but the calculation will be on gross salary including washing allowance.

Hi Atul The confusion is coz of old postings says as 10000/-. But its revised for 15000/- Now ESI is applicable for the gross salary for max of 15000/-
