Facts about Recruitment in India

I have come across some ppl in Consultancies who Call themselves as IT recruiters / Lead IT recruiters / Recruitment Manager/ Team Leads/Talent acquisition ….BUT who are these guys…??? Are they really what they are….

You call yourself as IT Recruiters/HR Recruiters so What’s the nature of job, Do u recruit ??

You call a person ask him if he is looking for job change,

If he says No –

Simple keep on calling Profiles until they say they are interested for the opening.

That’s really Awesome…u don’t have to use your brain or be creative & u don’t think logically

If he says Yes –

You get his details & process him for the interview ,

If He doesn’t goes for the interview You beg him

If He doesn’t Joins the company You beg him

(Few ppl call it as convincing skill )

u just calling him and selling your client DUDE R U A TELE MARKETER ??? Don’t u see you don’t do anything other than just calling may be u source and prepare Trackers LOL

At end of day u are bounded with targets and pressure….hummm

If the candidate doesn’t turns up for the interview u r blamed

If the candidate absconds u r blamed

If the candidate doesn’t joined u r blamed

Feedbacks for interview.. u wont get any updated unless if the resource is urgent…and There are dumm managers whos are really dumm who cant make decisions etc

But u cant blame Anyone

If the Positioned which u worked is on hold !! (waste of time/waste of energy )

If the interviews are not happening (waste of effort/ ur time & ur candidate’s time)

Candidate is selected and his offer is on hold Ha Ha Ha …

If u really make your candidate to join buy convincing /Begging…the first thing which your manager will say is … “Its probability “ he never gives a shit about the effort u take

I am into recruitment….stll I respect my job but at the end of day I feel really very dummm!!!

Seriously no1 learn any thing new in recruitment…

Human Resource is a learning process Day by day it gets updated …But Not in recruitment for sure !!!!

The worst thing is who manages who ???

Ur team lead / Manager (Who is he )

What’s their qualification ??

Do u think MBA/MSW/M.HR , Bullshit they even don’t know what are the Management Concepts

But I did had a Team leader who z not an Management guy but he was skillful & Treated ppl with respect,(as a management guy )…now am with a manager who’s education is b.s.c and who treats us just like a telecaller!!!

So guys you have DID management in regular think and act…….

IT Staffing is a cool and rewarding job if know just how to make your contacts and be networked.
After some time openings would come after you through your network and you will keep making incentives ...

Yes Naresh....theses are the day to day things which an recruiter comes across....
as a fresher u can join in a consultant,To gain knowledge what is recruitment...
what are the things u should check in a profile,
How to validate a profile,
what will be the interview process....But recruitment is a part of HR Activity,U should move on according to the trends....
