Hi All,
As of now i\'m in role of contractor in CTS. And i\'m trying to move into permanent role in CTS. For that they finished my background checks like education, employment etc.. The problem is the third party has given the status like negative. i.e My previous company was blacklisted. I had worked about 11 months there. And i also called to my Previous company MD. He is saying that this company is not blacklisted. How do i reveal from this situation

Dear Siva,
Talk to the CTS and check if they can deviate the background check in your case considering the fact that, you are hired based on your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities and rejected for your present employer being blacklisted - I mean its not you who is blacklisted, its your employer so, try to convince them that you will keep your performance high and learn the standards of CTS quickly.
A professional company should always have a learning and development environment or some special measures that can accommodate someone from a unprofessional or a small company.
Try to negotiate with CTS to provide exemptions in your case and I hope they do it,

Thanks for your concern. But seems this week HR will call me and she will be asking some questions. So how do i tackle or handle that kind of situation and how do i negotiate it. I had done research on my previous company. And it is not blacklisted. I just contact to one of my colleague in previous concern , he is stating that one guy from that third party came to place and he verified and he was asking for the company seal. At that time there is no person to show the company seal. And after he left of from the place. May be he had given the status like negative to CTS.
Please let me know about this.

Dear Siva,

Just talk about your intentions and plans after your joining the CTS like, your goals and objectives etc. and don't start about this topic from your side and just in case, if they ask you about it then inform them that you are here to add value to the organization (CTS) and leaving your present company due to several reasons out of which is a mismanagement practice and keep quite.

Don't try to point out towards the weaknesses of your company much in details and never say bad to your current employer in an interview(it's an offense), say you have great ideas to implement and perform better.

Even then, if they insist to give clarification or something on behalf of your employer then say few words explaining the scenario and keep the discussion continue by asking what do they suggest should you do in this situation etc. just try to change the direction of the but, try to avoid discussing about the blacklist and any other things and also insist them that, you can bring any letter from your present employer in support to your recruitment.

Wish you good luck,

Hi Shah,
Thank you very much. One more question. On filling the Candidate information sheet. I had wrongly mentioned the year for previous company. I actually joined in July 2010 previous company. But Instead of that i had put July 2009. With that the third party has given the status like negative for the work experience. Then i reviewed the sent mail, and came to know that i have done a mistake so i Resend the form to my HR saying that
Hi HRNAME,
As per the discussion with you on the telecon, The From and To dates for the organization xxxxxx in the CIS sheet has been amended as 19th July, 2010 and 10th May, 2011 respectively.
Attached is the amended CIS sheet for your reference.
I think HR didn't consider my last mail. May be with the first report HR had send to third party. And third party given the status like negative i.e found but not true.
Please reply. How to explain my concern to HR...........
Thanks,
Siva
