Dear all,
I have the following doubts on the gratuity eligibility. Can anyone of you please explain this
1. Five year service period = 4 yrs + 240 working days (or) 5 yrs
2. Is this five years to be considered upto date of resignation (or) relieving?

Dear Ravi, In my opinion & as per gartuaty act. 5 years for gratytity eligibility is 4 years+240 working days. & five years to be considered up to date of relieving.
