yes, you should report the accident to ESI as if an accident occurred while coming and going back to home from office, it is covered under ESI benefits. regards, Kamal

The recent ESI Notification No. 13 in Section 51D states that accidents occurring while going to the factory or returning home after completing work will be covered by ESI. I am unable to attach the file; please access it from http://www.esi.org.
