My job was terminated by a company in April due to some misunderstanding though I was not at fault. After that, I have joined a new company.
Recently I have got a job in Infosys. Will Infosys background verification process cause any problems because of the termination?
Any advice?

Hi James,
Most of the IT Companies will ask you to Register in https://nationalskillsregistry.com/.
This is the Central Agency which takes care of Background Verification.
I think Your Current Company would have asked here to register there.
Don't post anything in forum and get yourself in trouble.

Dear James,
Infosys will verify your previous employment! Its better if you might have revealed your termination termination upfront to the HR.....!Now you have to accept the things as it comes..HR may ask you to justify yourself if they came to know abut your termination....If your confident enough that you can justify reveal the things now itself and justify.
Hope for the best.

Dear James,
Infosys has a very good Background verification system and it is likely that your past may be truly revealed.
But at the same time, they give ample time to justify yourself before the pannel.
Its upto you how well you can justify your past termination.
This is from my personal past experience.
Try for the best.

If someone gets employment in MNC based on latest (second)company experience (of 2 years) and Is it compulsory to mention previous (older before 2 years i.e first company) employment details as it is not relevant to the IT field.

Infosys does a background verification of their employee and if they find out that you have been terminated by your previous Company then they will want to know the reason for the termination.

Since you have mentioned that it is not your mistake then you should not worry and explain the reason if the time comes.
Coming to your question, will it cause you a problem,

I must say that Infosys is quiet careful with hiring and there is a chance that they might skip your profile and pick someone less complicated to be hired.

Hope this answers your question.
