We are small garment manufacturer in Chennai. We received the Notice from EPFCommissioner office.For Late payment Contribution interest and demage. We ready to pay 12% Late payment interest. Present our company condition damage of 35% not possible. Please help us how we get wavier for Demange 35% from the Provident fund commissioner office. Please tell / advise how to approch with EPF Department.

We do come across such situation in my company, normally they ask 14 B & 7Q interest for late payments, try to explain the genuine reason for your late payment... and try to satisfy the commissioner (I hope you could understand the meaning of satisfying)... then automatically it will be resolved with minimum damages.
