In candidate profile form of a company, we are required to provide details of vendor comapany.I am applying for a job in a Consultancy firm I do not know, what do they mean by "vendor company"?

A Vendor Company means, if you have got to know about this opening through some other consultancy or through your friends/directly called for interview. In case you have been informed about this opening through a consultant, then you need to provide their name on that form as they are the vendor to where you are applying.
