Here is one story we used to here in Indian Air Force
The story goes like this....
One unit commander went out for a shopping with his wife inside the camp shops. There his wife lost her wedding ring. It was almost late evening. So the commander asked one of his deputies to place a guard so that no one could take his wife's ring.
The next day the ring was found. But the commander did not bother to aks his deputy to remove the guard.
After some days the Commander was transferred.
After a few years the commander was promoted and went to the highest level. Now on a visit to the unit he was astonished to find a guard near the shops, on enquiry no one could answer him. when searched for the records it was found he was the very reason for it.
