You got selected to work with HCL Tech and they said that you would get 18000 for 2months in training period and 3.25L p.a. after that. Now don't you think it should be HCL Tech personnel whom you coordinated with, to be answerable to your queries on basic pf etc rather than cite hr members!!!...anyways, for starters basic would be 40-50% of ctc (divide by 12 for monthly figures), pf @12% of basic, 50% of basic can be taken in HRA, 9600 as annual conveyance, 15000 as medical reimbursement and the rest as any other allowance etc.............rgrds

Hi Hanu,
CTC is actual amount the company spend on you during the whole year. So, CTC=GROSS SALARY+BONUS+PF CONTRIBUTION (employer contribution)+OTHER CASH BENEFITS GIVEN BY CO . In your case your pf will be Rs. 780/- p.m. (your contribution), monthly gross salary will be depends on bonus. if it's 8.33% (min. limit) then your gross salary will be [{375000-(780*12)}/13]=28126.00 (where 13 means 12 months gross salary and one months bonus)
and basic,DA and other allowance will be divided from your gross salary as per your co. salary structure and assume that no other cash benefit given to you by company.
