Would really appreciate to have your kind assistance and feedback on whether we can process the staff payroll in india from another country. The reason for this is because our payroll team is centralised in 1 country and we don't have any payroll staff in India.

Hi May,
your company payroll is processing at outside of the country then you need to check some of main important aspects, Applicability of Acts ESIC (If any employee falls under ESIC Act) PF Act, and some other statutory acts you need to check.

Dear Maytan,
Its not important the payroll is processed in India or abroad. You need to check that you are complaying all statuory norms and regulations made by the contry where you are employed and salary can be paid from any where.
This is also followed by our company and we are govern by the rule of land, we are bound to comply.
