Hey Siva,
I just joined this community and saw ur post , i think its really good.
however if we could discuss some generic tips of what a headhunter should speak about when he is just making a cold call to a new number.
may be some sample statements .. i understand there is no written script here for HH , but still so many headhunters would have used different kind of script to reach the real talent in any company .
i guess we need to even open and discuss that as well.
Cheers !!

Hello...I have been doing Head hunting from the past 7 months.
Depending on the requirement, I target different companies in that sector!!
For example, if i am recruiting a Testing Engineer...
Then, I call up the board number of a target company, ask the front desk person to put me to Ashok( generalized name)/Patrick Richardson(US Head hunting) in QA Team. Donot reveal your identity there. You may tell them that he is your childhood friend, or distant relative etc.
Once, they put you to that particular candidate, then reveal your identity to that person only.
This has worked for me many a times!!!
2. For International Head Hunting, target different companies depending on work orders..
For example, if you are recruiting a Clinical Research Associate...
Then call up the company, tell the front desk that you are calling from SOCRA( society for clinical research associates) and you want to get in touch with CRA's to invite them for a conference.
By this way, you can get in touch with different people in the company..
I hope this information is useful to you!!
All the best!!!
Bye

Hi Karuna,
Thanx for sharing that , but many a times me and my team have seen that after saying so , there could be 2 big problems .
1. generilised name may not be present , hence possibility of getting thru further gets cut there only.
2. many a times front desk people say if u r calling for ashok (example)
u must have ext number as well. hence with out that we cant ..
but still this can work many times ..
any other flick or tactics which can used and use have better hit ratio ...
regards

Hi Siva,
Its a nice ppt.
Some suggestions - For sourcing profiles you can add Job posting, Bulk mailing, Candidates reference, Advertising in common public websites like google, HR sites and other relevant sites.
Planning and Execution slide can be given in tabular form.
Head Hunting - you can add more information / re shuffle your information in a flow chart form.
Database management - Can include Remarks - candidates feedback, clients feedback and the actual status of the profile.
Hope the above can add value to your ppt.
