can anyone let me know "if a person is on long leave during the probation period and his probation period gets over during that leave period" so whether he wil be eligible for paid leaves after the completion of probation period or not?

U might have to read your offer and appointment terms
1. if your policy says that the employee is eleigible for Leave only when he is conformed
2. if he takes leave during probation it would account to LOP/ then the salary in lieu of his long leave is not considered.
3. if you are giving confirmation with effect from the date of completion of his probation then from that moment the he is eligible for leaves.
4. if you have not given the confirmation with teh effect from teh date of con=mpletion of probation then the management has to decide to give leave or not.
