Hello!

I'm currently trying to develop my company's Performance Management Framework. Can anybody give suggestions on what things I need to consider in developing the framework.

I would also appreciate sample frameworks from others.

Thanks

Hi there,
Your frame work depends on what you really want from the performance appraisals to achieve and your company objective towards employee performance evaluation.
•You just want to check on employee performance
•You want to evaluate performance for reward purpose
•You want to evaluate performance to know the objectives of the organization is meat
•You want to evaluate performance to know the objectives of the organization & your employees are being developed.
•Objective Based performance appraisal: when you have a set of objectives annually and you hold the employee accountable weather they achieve them or not and usually these objectives are determined in the business plan
•Or its competence based: just like the 360 degree where you also have your peers evaluate you based on the competencies you have and objectives
Do use the search there are a lot of materials on performance appraisal frame work there is a lot to choose from.

Thanks Anayaat!
Actually, I don't want to focus on Performance Appraisal alone but on the entire Performance Management System including goals setting, individual development planning, monitoring and appraisal.
