I would like to know if we have Contract employees providing consulting services what type of Id Cards can be created. Would be appropriate to get card done only with numbers and without their photo.

In my previous company, we have implemented the system with different color code, contractor name should be mentioned on the top of the card, if you have multiple contractors. Separate color code for Contract employees, Visitors and Employees will be helpful in easy identification.

Dear Simmi
1. If you have regular contract staff working for long duration (months), you may request the contractor to issue ID card which may be worn with a "Contractor" batch provided by you.
2. If the contract staff would be rotated, its advisable to have a batch as follows
Contractor
(XYZ Contractor)
Badge No. 1234
3. Colour coding is also an option
Cheers
