Hi !!!
Why dont you pursue a course for certified professionals if not then you can opt for Industrial Psychology and strengthen your portifolio. Child Psychology is a bit of a deviation.

Hi Aswathy,
You can also try doing a specialization in HR from XLRI through education for working professionals. You can also visit the website of Distance Education Council. There you have all the universities certified by DEC for Distance Education and also the courses. May be there you will get some info on Child Psychology etc.

Hello Aswathy,
I agree with Reagan Lemos.
Child Psychology would be useful as well as appropriate for those who want to get into the teaching line, that too @ the School-level [NOT colleges].
Industrial Psychology could be one good choice. But like RRaj suggested, just go thru the DEC website & look into the choices they offer. Maybe the info there could give you better options too. These days, HR professionals have a lot of options--it all depends on the individual's interest & aptitude.

Anyone can suggest to you any course BUT ultimately it depends upon what you want to do in life, your field of interest, your career and job-something which you are willing to do day-in and day-out.....if you have zeroed in on that first, then advice can follow....else people might keep telling you to do all the courses under the sun, but it would be of no value untill you have ur aptitude and interest in the required field.....if child psychology interests you, then go for it...but if you are not sure if its child psychology or something else, then first get some proper counselling on what all it involves and if you are ready to take the responsibilities associated with each job profile....its you yourself who first needs to answer the question of what you want to do before others suggest what you should be doing...................rgrds
