Why have you chosen to resign from your job on medical ground, if you can work due to your medical condition then better still go on pension on medical ground. Therefore there is no total lose, you stay at home trying to get healthy while your being paid your pension. Just make sure you check your pension rules with your authority and provide necessary documentation to prove that your in no condition to work due to your health.
