Hi Rekha
Actually the rule says if you have employees less than 20 in numbers you have nothing to worry for the PF. But if it exceeds 20 then its compulsory for every employees agian if you need any detail information i will let you now that. You can revert me back with your enquiries.

hi!
You can go for the PF under a volantry coverage.. u need to first fill the PF performa with the entire information asked.
u need to apply to regioanl PF comissionar for the PF code and also need to intimate a person who will be authorized for correspondance and challens etc from ur end..
once u get the PF code u can start deduction the amount.
hope this gives u a clarity in ur query.

Dear Eafil,
Thanks for the valuable information, just need some more clarifications, how do we give the PF numbers, Is it given by the PF department, or the company cal allot the PF Numbers.
Because in our Company whosoever joins, we allot the numbers ourselves in a sequential continuation to the numbers which are already alloted to the employers.
Like we have - DL/PF Code/001 or DL/PF Code/002 and in continuation.
So just want to ask that whether we are doing right or wrong.

Dear Monica, what you are doing is correct, we have to take permission from PF office that we are having these many branches, we will allot the numbers from this number to this number. AJAY

Mr. Ajit,
I think your opinion is wrong. We never requires permission for granting PF number (A/c. numbers) to employee. And also there is no requirement of intimation of branches to PF office. (except in coverage proforma)
But Monica is doing right practise.
