Hi..

Boiler Safety Tips

• Safety should be the prime concern while repairing your boilers. Even when your boiler is installed you should be careful and take certain precautions. Following are some of the safety tips that you should take care off
• It is advisable to seek the service of professional installer if any irregularities occur in your system. Never try to do any servicing or repair work on your heating system yourself.
• The boilers should be checked regularly as this will avoid unnecessary problems and the expense of emergency call outs.
• Leakage problem should be addressed immediately otherwise you will be exposed to the danger of harmful gases like carbon monoxide.
• Do not store boxes or clothing in the boiler room as these items can create a fire hazard.
• Get the oil flue of the chimney examined at least every five (5) years.
• Every home must have smoke detectors, heat detectors and CO2 detectors.
• Batteries should be changed regularly.
