Our company dealing in Electrical Poles installation & electrical Maintanance but we have received a notice from the labour Department Samnath Marg Delhi, They are saying in the letter that your worker should be registered in Delhi Building and other Construction worker's welfare board. Is it applicable for our company. Plz reply

After going through the definition of the 'building & other construction work'
the work of renovation seems to be covered while the work of interior decoration does not seems to covered under this definition.

What is Formalities to Covered a Establishment in the Delhi Building and other construction worker's welfare Board an what the liablity for company .
If we have registered our employees under BOCW but we have not covered our establishment under this act it is correct or not.

I strongly believe that the interior decoration is part of construction work. Interior decoration means tiling, wood work, painting, carpentary, etc.
