Can you please help in clearing the following doubts:
1. Is there any other control measures we can suggest against lightening rather than Lightening Arrestors?
2. Lightening arrestor is required to provide in the top of tallest structure. How we can calculate the area protected by lightening arrestor.

1. There are no other known control measures to me against lightening.
2. Protection we provide and the way we are to protect ourselves are well explained in the attachment. It is easy to understand.
3. There are different types of lightening like ribbon lightening, bead lightening or

In the recent past Lightening hit on Burj Dubai. Hope you may get that mail with live photos. If not please let me know. I will post here. On that day I gone through the topic a little. After that by seeing the quiz posted by you only makes me think deeply about the subject.
