Dear friends plz suggest how many monthly pension will be found by widow & two minor chieldren if employee died after joining the service of six month their pensionable salary was Rs 6500.

50% of Last pay has to be paid as family pension to the wife till 7 years and 30% thereafter.

The widow will get a monthly pension of Rs. 2051 for life long or till her remarriage for a monthly salary of Rs. 6500. The children will get Rs. 513 each till they attain an age of 25 years. When the widow pension is stopped ( due to remarriage or death), the child pension will be converted to orphan pension. In such case they will get 3 times than the original pension which will be 513x3 = 1539 each.
