Am doing research on soft skills and cross-cultural training for a company as part of my internship project. I wish to know if anyone can help me with some details as to how cross-cultural training is conducted in large companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS and also telecom giants like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and so on and the topics generally covered.

If you are looking forward to understand the cross-cultural training for expats. Well it starts with Orientation about the new work place they would be shifting to. Next come the style for busienss correspondence if that would change. Then comes clothing, for employees shifting from different time zones. Few immigration details to be kept in loop such as keeping a photo copy of the passport . Handholding on how to handle sensitive issue is an important part.
Most of the time employees come with a very open mind. Hence it is not very difficult to train. Few books are suggested to the trainees at the end of such orientation program.
