Dear Friends plz answer these querries:
1.Normal shift is 8.5 hrs where as others is 8 hrs & weekly there are been interchanged what will be the standard rule for calculating the OT.
2. For LOP of salaried employees what is the calculation.
3. Is a daily wage employee entitle for weekend pay.

The State Shops & Establishment Act, The Minimum Wages Act, 1948, The Factories Act etc. have provisions on duty hours, spread over timings, weekly off day & OT payment calculation & therefore you are to examine which Act(s) is/are applicable to your establishment/ unit. Thereafter go through that provisions in that particular Act for your query.
