EI and IQ are twins but as we grow EQ starts dominating the IQ. Leaders use IQ by leveraging EQ.
You may have tall targets well thought out and intelligently strategised but of your EQ is low it is mere waste
can you as an Hr professional think of any of your activity with ur leveraging EQ ?
can you list areas wherein EQ competencies are essential
even getting started to list them you need some EQ
Have we learnt How to EQ

we can not learn EQ, as it is, which, god has gifted to us, from our environment we learn IQ.. everybody says that EQ is important than IQ okay we agree but dont we think that IQ is also important in our life and it should be of the same importance like EQ...
EQ makes your relations developed, clear, your motivation to be on higher side but IQ is also important for performance..

Emotional Intelligence can be learnt and improved - first step is to recognize your learnt patterns - unlearn them then learn new patterns
just look at this C R A S H model
First answer
what do you do when you get angry ( as an Example) ? Frown shout shut your mouth walk away -- interesting we collected around 800 samples and our analysis show broadly five groups of reaction to anger
Compete -- tit for tat --eye for eye- brick for brick and so on
Reroute -- get angry from one stimulus but pass it on to some one or
Other -- boos to junior or wife at home or children
Wife to boss or assistant and so on
Avoid some find a mechanism to avoid facing it - escape
Suppress
some how suppress and try not to show it out poker face
etc
Handle them face them and use them for better outcome
C R A S H model gives you an idea how you face the emotions
