My Dear Friends,
I am sales profossional with 9 yrs exp, I recently joined a company in bangalore and at the time of joining they made me sign a service bond on plain paper. I didn't have a choice and I signed the bond. The service bond says that the company is prepared to invest time and money to train employee for advanced skills.
And if I break the bond I have to pay the gross salary for the remaining months to them.
but the company can tarminate me for any reason wiht 15 days notice
I want to join another comany now because of the unprofessinalism of my current employer.
Can I get out by giving a medical crertificate saying that I have a chronic disease and I need to undergo treatment or is there any other way?
Does the service bond hold good ?
Pls help me

I advise not play false but be straight to ask for relieving and say that the company had not invested any amount by way of training you and as such no bond would work out. The company has to accept it and will not go legally against you.
As far as a Sales professional is concerned, he is not a workman under the Industrial Disputes Act. Though there is Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976 the same is meant for pharmacuetical industry sales personnels. Therefore, any dispute arising out of employment and non employment of other sales professionals will have to be addressed through civil suits only.

Dear Sir,
My company people will not understand If I tell them the truth, can i produce medical certifcate stating that I am getting treated and cannot work for next 2-3 months. I think this will be better.
Pls advice.
