Hi Seniors,
Plz guide me.
I was on maternity leave and now got one month extension .
But i have been informed that roles ahve been changed in my absence and now no role left for me at present.
Now my fear is that can co. ask me to resign or can they ask me to leave.
Is it legal to do so accoding to maternity act?

additional one month ,leave is allowed for illness due to pregnancy,delivery
,miscarriage,or premature birth.but doctor has to give in writing.
basically your services should not be terminated on this ground ,if the management does like that than it will be illegal.
