whether Industrial injury is defiend in any labour act of India? if so pls provide details regards ravi
From United States
Employment Injury (not industrial injury) has been defined in Employees State Insurance Act in section 2(8) as "a personal injury to an employee caused by accident or an occupational disease arising out of and in the course of his employment, being an insurable employment, whether the accident occurs or the occupational disease is contracted within or outside the territorial limits of India".
Under Workmen's Compensation Act, the term disablement - partial and total- is used and there is no specific definition for industrial/ employment injury.

Thanx a lot. I asked this question because in our company Industrial injury was defined which is not there in any of the statutory acts. so i wanted that clarification.
From United States
A definition given in the Standing Orders of the company within the frame work of the Statutory Act is acceptable. Regards, Madhu.T.K
