Please let me know the current minimum wages that should be given to a graduate (non skilled) and the section of minimum wages act in which the same is mentioned. Also, how can we diffrentaite between skilled, semiskilled and unskilled.

Hi, According to labor law act minimum wage should be Rs4025 gross. If he is a graduate with basic communication skill you can offer him 7-8k.

while finalizing the salary u also need to keep in mind
1) location - place the person comes from like if you hiring from metro cities then the pay expectation will be higher, while from some comparitively small place expectation will be less.
2) background of the person - If the person is from a well to do family, might not feel the need for money while some on from a lower strata might feel the need and so will be able to accept what u offering.
