well friends, I discussed with my SW friends about the logic of the mind reader and I got no satisfactory answer until I sat down with it .. did some analysis and wow... got to know the logic!
Can anybody think of it as to what is it???
If you cannot, and want to know ... mail me request on

Hi All,
This magic is nothing but just math.
If you calculate any no.as per the requirement at the end you got a no. which is multiplication of 9.
After calculation,When you watch any figure it reflect under the multiplication of 9 i.e.9,18,36,45,54....,And all figures which is multiplication of 9 are same.
So every time when you select any figure it always reflect under multiplication of 9 but every time the figure changes.
So Simple......
Please try this & revert.:-P

Hi the theory goes as following :
let the two digit number be: 10x +y
now adding the digits of the number we get: (x+y)
Substacting this from the two digit no. we have ;
(10x +y) - (x+y) = 9x
thus taking any number arbitarily we will finally end up with multiple of 9 i.e.
0,9 , 18, 27, 36, 45, 63, 72, 81, 90.....
and NOTE in the slide all these number have got the same symbol at any point of time .
so no matter what you chose , crystal ball is always right..:-D as it will dispaly the symbol corresponding to the same :-D:-D:-D

Hi Surabhi,
Just understand that when you apply this formula to numbers 10-19, your answer is 9, for 20-29, your answer will be 18, for 30-39 your answer will be 27, and so on. Now what has been done is at any given point of time, the figure for all these numbers in 9,18,27,...,99 remains same and same figure is displyed in the crystal ball when you click. So even if you take any 2-digit number, the answer is going to be same figure. When you go for next try, the figures for 9, ....., 99 are changed to any other but same for all. and thus next time you try, you again get the correct answer. Got it??:)

The main logic behind this magic ball is that -
Whatever no. u will get it after subtracting will definetly be either 9,or the sum of that no. will be 9.And if you check all the no's whose sum is nine or nine itself is carrying the same picture.

Dear Sir,

1)Its neither illusion , nor magic , its simple mathematics of probability
2)The equation asks to memorise “two digit” . SAY “XY” Then addition of two digits to be done i.e. X+Y. Then XY-(X+Y)
3)Final Answer of the equation is =9 or 18 or 27 or 36 or 45 or 54 or 63 or 72 or 81 (In multiples of 9) 81 is highest as 99-18=81 is highest possible answer
4)All these multiples indicates ONE AND ONLY ONE PICTURE (Check) and all other digits indicates any picture which has no relevance as far as appearance on click is concerned.
5)This is the logic in fixed equation and known probable answers. We get illusion as after every click, programme changes the actual picture at 9/18………………81
6)If you have to prove it wrong , memorise picture by answer say 72 . If picture is “Square”. Pretend you have seen star, book or any other picture. Appeared picture will be only “SQUARE” . Hence this not a mind reader (Real or pretending mind)

Dear all,
Hope u have seen a similar trick - card trick of David Copperfield in this site.
Very interseting fun to play with children. If u see and select the same number again
and again u will understand the trick easily.
Fine posting and keep it up.
Regards to all.
